CopyTT Terms of Use
These terms apply to the CopyTT website, browser extension, related help pages, and optional feedback features. Use them only for lawful, authorized purposes and content you are entitled to save.
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Acceptance and scope
By accessing or using CopyTT, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or extension.
If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. These terms apply to current features and later updates unless a separate agreement expressly applies.
What the service does
The website analyzes supported public TikTok post links and may present eligible video or original photo sources. The browser extension adds a user-initiated download control to supported media already available on the current TikTok page and lets the browser manage the resulting file.
The service does not promise that every post, media type, resolution, file size, or no-watermark source will be available. The extension may handle supported media already available to the current signed-in browser session, but neither product bypasses access controls, creates rights in third-party content, or provides a storage or backup service.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that rule applies. Do not use the service if applicable law or a binding platform restriction prohibits you from doing so.
Permitted use
Downloading a file does not transfer ownership, grant a copyright license, or give you permission to publish, sell, modify, or redistribute it. Your intended use must be independently authorized.
- Content you created or own.
- Content for which you have the creator or rights holder’s permission.
- Content whose license, platform feature, or applicable law allows the intended download and use.
- Personal reference or backup only when the content rights and applicable rules permit it.
Prohibited use
Do not use the service to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights; obtain private, paid, age-restricted, deleted, or otherwise protected content that you are not authorized to access; or bypass technical or account access controls. The extension may handle supported media already loaded by your current signed-in session, but that does not grant new access or permission to reuse it.
Do not automate high-volume requests, scrape or bulk-download through the service, interfere with security or rate limits, introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, impersonate another person, submit deceptive reports, resell the service, or use it in violation of law or platform terms.
You remain responsible for every link you submit and for how you store, edit, publish, share, or otherwise use any file.
Third-party content and creator rights
CopyTT does not own media made available by TikTok users. Rights remain with the creator and other applicable rights holders. A public post is not automatically public-domain content.
We do not pre-screen every link or decide whether your intended use is permitted. You are responsible for obtaining permission and complying with notices, licenses, laws, and platform rules. We may reject links or restrict access when misuse or infringement is reasonably suspected.
Browser extension use and permissions
The extension must be installed from a source you trust and used only on supported TikTok pages. Its site access, activeTab, downloads, and storage capabilities are used for the user-facing download workflow and related settings described in the Privacy Policy.
You may revoke site access or uninstall the extension at any time. Do not alter the extension to bypass safeguards, inject undisclosed behavior, collect other people’s data, or initiate downloads without a genuine user action. Browser or store updates may change compatibility or require revised permissions.
CopyTT materials and intellectual property
The CopyTT name, interface, original text, graphics, code, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These service materials are distinct from TikTok posts and other third-party content.
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended personal functionality. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, mirror, or misrepresent the service or its branding except where applicable open-source licenses or law expressly allow it.
Third-party services and independence
CopyTT is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance. TikTok and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.
The website and extension depend on browsers, extension stores, hosting providers, TikTok pages, media delivery networks, and other third-party systems. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. A link or integration does not mean CopyTT controls or endorses third-party content.
Availability and changes to the service
Public platform pages, media addresses, browser APIs, and extension-store rules can change without notice. The service may reject a link, return fewer formats, impose safety or traffic limits, suspend a feature, or become temporarily unavailable.
We may update, replace, or discontinue all or part of the service to address security, reliability, policy, legal, or product needs. Where practical, material user-facing changes will be explained on the site or in release information.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CopyTT is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, accuracy of every file detail, availability of a particular quality or no-watermark source, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for verifying the file, its source, your rights, and the safety and suitability of your use before relying on or sharing it. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CopyTT and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from service interruption, third-party changes, a failed or incomplete download, loss of data, unauthorized use of content, or your violation of another person’s rights.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law. This section does not limit liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Restriction, suspension, and termination
We may block a request or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, rights holders, or third parties; respond to legal obligations; investigate abuse; or enforce these terms. You may stop using the website at any time and end extension use by uninstalling it and clearing its stored settings.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including content responsibility, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms when the service, platform environment, or legal requirements change. The current date appears at the top. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept the revised terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
Copyright, removal, and contact requests
If you believe CopyTT is being used in connection with content that infringes your rights, contact us with the public post URL, identification of the protected work or right, your contact details, and a good-faith explanation. Do not send passwords, private media, cookies, or unnecessary identity documents.
We may request enough information to evaluate and route the notice, restrict relevant access where technically possible, or direct the requester to the platform that hosts and controls the original content. Fraudulent or abusive notices are prohibited.
General terms
If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for use of the covered service unless a separate written agreement applies.
Questions about these terms may be sent to the support address above. Any governing-law or dispute rule required for a particular transaction or jurisdiction will be provided separately when applicable.
