Saving on iPhone and iPad
In Safari, a completed file normally appears in the Downloads list and in the Downloads folder inside the Files app. If the media opens in a new tab instead, use Safari’s download or Share controls and wait for the save to finish before leaving the page.
A compatible video or image can be moved to Photos after it exists in Files. CopyTT cannot choose the final iOS folder or add a file to Photos automatically because those actions are controlled by Safari and iOS.
Saving on Android
Chrome and other modern Android browsers usually place saved files in Downloads. Use the browser download panel or the device file manager to confirm the filename and completion state.
If Android opens the media rather than saving it, use the browser menu or download control on that tab. Keep enough free storage available and avoid starting the same large file repeatedly while the first download is still active.
What to check
- If a file opens in a new tab, use the browser download or Share control.
- Move a compatible file to Photos only after it has been saved.

Common questions
Do I need an app?
No. The public-link downloader works in a modern mobile browser.
Why is the file not visible in my Photos or Gallery app?
Mobile browsers often save to Downloads first. Find the completed file in Files or a file manager, then move or share a compatible file to Photos or Gallery.
Should I install the CopyTT extension on a phone?
Use the website on mobile. The current browser extension targets Chrome 120 or later on supported desktop TikTok pages and is not presented as a mobile-app replacement.
